FREE EYE OPERATION AND TREATMENT CAMP

Since last six decades NSS has been organizing Free Eye Check-up & Operation Camps every year. So far in numerous camps held, 82500 or more patients had been operated for cataract and around 3.37 lakhs patients had Checked up for various ailments of Eye by Testing for Free. In our Camps, the patients who are operated also provided with boarding, fooding, lodging, pre and post operation care and Spectacles for Free. We are always focused on eradication of blindness for the needy patients who cannot afford Eye Operations at actual rates.

SANGH NETRALAYA (Eye Hospital)

NSS eye hospital is situated in the heart of city of Kolkata near Girish Park and is operational since 2005. NSS eye hospital is fully equipped with most modern and latest technology machines for diagnostic tests and operations. All types of eye surgeries are done by Infra Ocular lens transplant, Phaco-emulsification (is a mechanically assisted extra installed O.C.T machine TOPCON made donated by Rupa & Co. and Dollar Industries Limited jointly for advance eye treatment. We have also installed one YAG Laser Machine donated by Udyogi Industries Limited. Glaucoma and other Retina treatment by renowned surgeons and eye specialists. Eye testing is also performed by Opthalmologist with the help of Auto Refractometer. We are working on translating High-end trends down to affordable price points.

FIRST AID CAMP

NSS arranges First Aid Camps/ Medical Aid Camps on various occasions depending upon regional culture some of them are Srawan Mela at Tarkeshwar & Baidyanath Dham, Pitrapaksh Camp at Gaya, Ganga Sagar Mela during Makar Sakranti, Rath Yatra at Jagganath Puri. NSS also takes initiatives in sending medical teams to the required places during earthquakes, flood, cyclone or any other natural disaster. These services are lined up as per the requirement of betterment of Society.

SANGH SHREE (LADIES WING)

In the year 1975, NSS started this Unit with the aim to Empower the Women in our Society by the means of Vocational Training in crochet, cooking, baking, ice-cream making, flower decoration, hair-style, skin care, dance, music, mehendi, painting, cutting-stitching, fashion designing, beauty contest and many more. These training are being given by trained teachers in regular or crash course. By this Unit, many women have become self-reliant by the means of Confidence and also by job opportunities.

AMBULANCE SERVICES

NSS started this in the year 1975, due to the in-availability in those days. We started this service with the view to make it available 24*7 in a week over a phone call. Even in current days, when there are numerous service providers, our service is available at very Nominal Charge.

VASTU BHANDAR

NSS made availability of beds, pillows, bed covers, utensils etc. for the Society on various occasions in the year 1977. These materials are made available to the organizations for their health programs and other medical camps as per requirement. Surgical Beds, Suction Machines, Oxygen Cylinders are always available at very Nominal Charge.

BABY CLINIC

With the aim to immunizing children from contagious diseases and to protect them from Epidemic, NSS started this unit in 1977 including the vaccinations to be provided for Polio, Triple antigen, BCG and any other as per requirement of Society in collaboration with Health Department of Government of West Bengal. In order to aware the parent’s consciousness about their Child’s health, Healthy Baby Show and Child Health Camps are also organized every year. In these programs, Healthy Children of each category are also awarded.

WATER SERVICES (SANGH GANGA)

During the occasions like marriages, rallies or any other religious functions there had been always faced the problem of scarcity of water, keeping in mind to fulfil the immediate requirement of water, NSS started this service in 1998. We provide this service as per requirement of the Society.

BHAWAN NIRMAN PROJECT

NSS has acquired a 13 Cottah land situated at 20A, Jorabagan Street, Kolkata-700006. We are in planning stage of offering stunning services which are exceptional and highly recognizable. This will also be built for the betterment of Society as per requirement and availability of resources.
